Giraffe Studios

Giraffe Studios is a deep-tech venture studio based in Gurugram, India, co-founded by Himanshu Aggarwal (co-founder of Aspiring Minds) and Mohit Tandon (co-founder of Delhivery) around early 2025. Rather than operating as a passive check-writer, the studio works alongside founders across three stages: incubating ideas into founding teams, building prototypes and IP alongside technologists, and then supporting commercialisation (go-to-market, supply chain, manufacturing readiness, and customer access). It focuses on three priority sectors in India: energy transition (power electronics, electric motors, energy storage, solar, grid infrastructure), generative AI (models, training infrastructure, and applications), and intelligent machines (drones, robotics, satellite technology, industrial automation). Portfolio companies include Zenergize, Naxatra Labs, Zstate.ai, Zeratron, and Powertrace, several with IIT-affiliated founders. The firm leads and follows on investments, having led Zenergize's $4M Pre-Series A round and other follow-on rounds as portfolio companies scale.
