ICES Annual Science Conference 2026

The ICES Annual Science Conference 2026 brings together 1,000+ marine scientists, fisheries researchers, ecosystem ecologists, oceanographers, and ocean policy experts to Brest, France, September 15–18, 2026, at Le Quartz national performance venue. Organized by the International Council for the Exploration of the Sea (ICES), the preeminent body coordinating marine research across the North Atlantic and beyond, the conference features 18 thematic sessions and 7 network forums spanning climate change impacts on fish stocks and marine ecosystems, ecosystem-based and integrated fisheries management strategies, human pressures on marine environments, emerging technologies for ocean observation and data collection, sustainable seafood production systems, and marine conservation strategies.
