The India–AI Impact Summit 2026 (February 16–20, held in New Delhi) is the first major artificial intelligence summit hosted in the Global South, bringing together 600,000+ in-person attendees and 900,000+ virtual participants from 100+ countries and 20+ international organizations. The summit advances responsible artificial intelligence development aligned with planetary stewardship and social progress, examining AI's environmental footprint, energy-efficient algorithms, sustainable data center design, responsible workforce training, and policy frameworks for green AI. Programming reduces computational emissions while accelerating climate resilience, environmental protection, sustainable agriculture, clean energy innovation, disaster preparedness, and inclusive development. The event announced over USD 200 billion in committed AI infrastructure investments and featured keynotes, research presentations, and strategic partnerships from leading technology companies, governments, academics, and social enterprises advancing equitable, planet-centered AI.
