The program provides initial capital investment of $100k, comprehensive training in climate tech entrepreneurship and IP fundamentals, expert mentorship from successful founders, and facilitated access to lab scientists and technology transfer offices. LabStart won a $500,000 DOE Office of Technology Transitions award for its work in improving accessibility to lab IP entrepreneurship and democratizing pathways from research to commercialization.
