LIFE Programme
GrantActiveLIFE is the European Union dedicated funding instrument for environment and climate action, managed by CINEA across four sub-programmes covering nature and biodiversity, circular economy and zero pollution, climate change mitigation and adaptation, and clean energy transition. The 2026 calls make EUR 601.5M available across roughly 25 topics, with Standard Action Projects serving as the main close-to-market demonstration instrument and no published per-project ceiling. Any legal entity established in the EU or in a country associated with the LIFE Programme may apply, as a single applicant or with partners; individuals cannot apply. The 2026 calls opened 21 April 2026, Standard Action Projects close 22 September 2026, and Strategic Projects run a two-stage cycle with full proposals due 4 March 2027.
