Mary Robinson Climate and Nature Conference

Hosted July 9–10, 2026, in Ballina, County Mayo, Ireland, the Mary Robinson Climate and Nature Conference brings together farmers, environmental scientists, climate activists, artists, and community workers to explore integrated approaches to climate action, biodiversity restoration, and sustainable food systems under the theme 'Food and Care: A Meitheal for Our Time.' Organized by the Mary Robinson Centre and honoring the vision of former Irish president and climate justice champion Mary Robinson, the conference convenes academics, local government officials, NGOs, youth advocates, and community volunteers to examine how climate, biodiversity, and human activity function as interconnected systems supporting Ireland's environmental security, rural prosperity, and agricultural sustainability.
