MFV Partners

MFV Partners is an early-stage deep tech venture capital firm founded in 2018 and headquartered in Los Altos, California (Silicon Valley). The firm invests in engineering-led startups developing technologies in robotics, physical AI, quantum and next-generation computing, energy transition, sensors, IoT, and AI, targeting large industries including automotive, manufacturing, logistics, agriculture, healthcare, and climate. Its investment focus spans Pre-Seed through Series A. The team is led by Managing Partner Karthee Madasamy (formerly MD at Qualcomm Ventures), alongside Chairman and Partner Ashish Gupta and Partner Dr. Ruchi Dana. MFV Partners also independently manages Harper Court Ventures Fund I, a $25M early-stage fund formed under an exclusive cooperation agreement with the University of Chicago to back Pre-Seed and Seed-stage deep tech startups emerging from the UChicago ecosystem. As of mid-2025, the firm has made approximately 26–30 investments, with notable portfolio companies including PsiQuantum, Agility Robotics, Chef Robotics, and OpenInfer.
