NASA SBIR/STTR Program
GrantActiveNASA's SBIR/STTR program funds small businesses developing innovative space, aeronautics, and exploration technologies, offering up to $150,000 in Phase I (6 months) and $850,000 in Phase II (24 months), with potential for nearly $3M or more through Post Phase II opportunities. First-time applicants are actively encouraged, and women-owned, minority-owned, and socially disadvantaged businesses are welcomed. The program takes no equity and lets founders retain full control of their intellectual property. For program year 2026, NASA is transitioning from traditional solicitation cycles to a Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) format.
