NFX is a seed and pre-seed venture capital investor founded in 2015 and headquartered in San Francisco, with a second office in Herzliya, Israel. Led by founder-operators who previously built ten companies with over $10 billion in exits, the firm backs startups building defensible businesses powered by network effects across a broad range of sectors, including AI, techbio, fintech, crypto, marketplaces, cybersecurity, developer tools, gaming, and proptech. NFX actively invests in the United States, Israel, Europe, and Latin America, writing average checks of $1–5 million at the pre-seed and seed stages. The firm closed its fourth fund at $325 million in October 2025, bringing total assets under management to roughly $1.5 billion, and plans to deploy it across approximately 50 new companies. Portfolio companies gain access to the NFX Guild, an invite-only founder network, along with proprietary software tools such as Signal and Brieflink.
