ONAMI's current biennium program (July 2025–June 2027), the Center of Innovation Excellence Collaborative Fund, targets 7–8 pre-seed and seed-stage equity investments (typically SAFEs, convertible notes, or restricted stock) of $50K–$100K in Oregon-domiciled deep-tech startups with 51%+ of employees in Oregon. The program runs a four-stage process: initial consultation, pitch deck review, detailed diligence with Entrepreneurs-in-Residence, and potential investment. Focus sectors include electronic and optical materials, biomedical technologies, semiconductors, advanced materials, energy, and precision agriculture. Applications are initiated by emailing Investment@onami.us.
