Oxford Capital
InvestorActiveOxford Capital (formally Oxford Capital Partners LLP) is a UK-based venture capital firm founded in 1999 and headquartered in Oxford. Authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, it operates two investment strategies: 'Backing Founders', which invests in early-stage UK technology startups from Pre-Seed to Series A, and 'Backing Growth', which invests in later-stage UK science and technology scaleups from Series A onwards — the latter exclusively in companies with whom Oxford Capital already has a relationship. Over 25 years the firm has deployed over £500m across more than 100 companies. Investment vehicles include the Oxford Capital EIS Fund, which enables individuals, families, and institutions to build discretionary managed portfolios of UK technology companies while benefiting from EIS tax advantages. Portfolio companies span deep tech, quantum computing, AI, fintech, healthtech, and space/photonics (e.g. Archangel Lightworks, Oxford Quantum Circuits). Check size and fund size are not publicly disclosed.
