RunwayVC

RunwayVC is an industrial technology venture firm based in Fornebu, Norway, that invests mainly in Norway and the Nordics, with selected investments elsewhere in Europe and the United States. Its thesis covers three linked areas: connectivity and IoT that links machines, sensors and industrial assets; industrial intelligence and orchestration that turns operational data into decisions and coordinated action; and robotics and automation, including physical AI on real industrial assets and robots for hazardous work. It looks for founders with deep understanding of an industrial problem, technology that clearly improves on current operations, evidence that it works in the field, and global ambition. RunwayVC invests from pre-seed to Series A, with first investments of 0.5 to 2 million euros and follow-on support for strong performers. Its Fund II held a first close of NOK 400 million in 2026.
