Scania Invest

Scania Invest is the in-house corporate venture capital arm of Scania, the Swedish commercial vehicle manufacturer and subsidiary of Volkswagen's TRATON Group. Established in 2024 and headquartered in Södertälje, Sweden, Scania Invest operates globally with portfolio allocation across EMEA (40%), North America (40%), and APAC (20%). The fund invests from seed to late stage, targeting minority positions of up to 10% ownership. Its focus sectors include energy and infrastructure, deep tech (cybersecurity, semiconductors, quantum computing, robotics), asset management and circularity, and autonomous and supply chain technologies — all oriented toward the sustainable transport ecosystem. The fund currently holds 10 portfolio companies. Scania Invest operates separately from Scania Growth Capital, Scania's externally managed venture fund run by East Hill Equity, which launched its SEK 2 billion (~$190M) second fund in late 2022.
