Scribble Ventures is an early-stage venture capital firm based in Portola Valley, California, founded in 2020 by Elizabeth Weil (formerly of Andreessen Horowitz, Twitter, IVP, and Menlo Ventures). The firm invests primarily at the Pre-Seed and Seed stages in AI-native startups, writing initial checks of $750K–$1.5M. It intentionally avoids rigid ownership targets, preferring to co-invest and syndicate with other angel investors and early-stage funds to minimize founder dilution. Post-investment support is delivered through the 'Scribble Network'—a curated group of senior operators from OpenAI, Meta, Twitter, Instagram, and a16z—offering hands-on guidance on product, go-to-market, hiring, and fundraising.
