SCVC (Science Creates Venture Capital) is the venture capital arm of the Science Creates ecosystem, founded in 2020 and based in Bristol, UK. It is an FCA-authorised, founder-led deep tech VC that invests exclusively in early-stage UK companies qualifying for the Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS), from pre-seed through Series A. The team is composed of exited founders and scientists with deep technical backgrounds across biotech, quantum, advanced materials, and engineering. SCVC applies a proprietary 'technology-product fit' model to help founders de-risk their technology and build commercial strategy. It typically leads or co-leads rounds, takes board seats, and reserves capital for follow-on investments. Check sizes range from £500K to £2.5M. As of mid-2026, SCVC has raised over £53M in total capital, deployed over £25M, and holds a portfolio of 18 companies. Fund I is closed; Fund II has been established.
