Share Ventures

Share Ventures is a Los Angeles-based venture studio founded by Hamet Watt (co-founder of MoviePass) that both invents and invests in companies from the ground up. Operating a dual-vehicle model — a foundry for early experimentation and a fund for spinning out portfolio companies — Share focuses on the future of living and work, with particular emphasis on human performance, longevity, brain health, cognition, and AI-enabled products. The studio creates new business concepts, assembles founding teams, provides seed capital, and drives growth through strategic partnerships. Its fund is anchored by LPs including Alphabet (Google) and Amazon, alongside venture firms and family offices. Share raised $10M in an initial close (2020) and subsequently raised a total of approximately $20M by mid-2024. The studio targets launching two to four companies per year and uses proprietary data systems and AI tooling to automate and de-risk the company-building process.
