Sony Innovation Fund (SIF) is the corporate venture capital arm of Sony Group Corporation, established in 2016 and managed by Sony Ventures Corp. With over $430M AUM, it operates from offices in the US, EU, Japan, India, and Africa. SIF manages multiple investment vehicles: the flagship SIF (early-stage, wholly funded by Sony Group); Innovation Growth Fund (IGF, mid-to-late stage, co-established with Daiwa Investment Management); SIF:E (early-stage climate and environmental tech); SIF:AF (seed to early-stage, Africa entertainment); and the current SIF4, which takes a more selective approach with stronger strategic alignment to Sony's core businesses, investing across early-to-late stages.
