Spring Impact Capital

Spring Impact Capital is a Vancouver-based impact venture capital fund founded in January 2023 as an independent expansion of Spring (formerly Spring Activator), a decade-old Canadian impact accelerator. The fund targets pre-seed and seed stage Canadian founders building scalable innovations in human and planetary health — spanning climate tech, clean energy, sustainable food and agriculture, circular economy, water, and digital health. It explicitly prioritizes diverse and underrepresented founders. The fund targets a portfolio of 20–25 companies and provides post-investment support including sales expertise, hiring assistance, and access to Spring's broader ecosystem of 3,000+ founders and 900+ investors. The fund closed at $14 million in October 2025, backed by investors including Boann, Realize Capital Partners, First West Credit Union, Vancouver Foundation, and others. Spring Impact Capital was recognized as an Emerging Impact Manager by ImpactAssets 50 in 2024 and was selected for the SVX Impact Index+.
