The Sustainable Agriculture Summit, co-hosted by Field to Market and major agricultural commodity organizations, convenes more than 1,000 participants annually to advance a shared vision for a sustainable and resilient U.S. food system. The 2026 edition will take place November 18–19 at the Fort Worth Convention Center in Texas, bringing together farmers, suppliers, processors, food brands, conservation organizations, and government representatives from the commodity crop, specialty crop, beef, dairy, poultry, and pork sectors. A central focus is carbon footprint accounting methodologies in agricultural supply chains, including measurement of on-farm emissions, soil carbon sequestration potential, and greenhouse gas reduction strategies. Sessions address how to quantify agricultural carbon data and integrate findings into corporate Scope 3 greenhouse gas inventories, the role of agricultural offsets in climate strategies, certified low-carbon commodity markets, and innovative agribusiness solutions for environmental stewardship.
