It is described as Spain's first major venture fund specialised in agri-food tech innovation. The fund targets high-impact Agri-Food Tech startups aligned with the global agricultural and food industry value chain, spanning primary production, food transformation and processing, and logistics and distribution. It invests from concept validation and late-seed through early-stage Series A, with an initial ticket size of €0.5M–€2M and a target of up to approximately 20 portfolio companies. The fund launched with initial capital of over €40M and a maximum target of €80M. Swanlaab acts as a lead investor and venture factory, providing hands-on operational support, go-to-market strategy, and access to a Spain-and-Israel-rooted international network alongside capital. Founders can submit projects via the Swanlaab website.
