Texas Semiconductor Innovation Fund
GrantActiveThe Texas Semiconductor Innovation Fund provides grants and matching funds for semiconductor research, manufacturing and design projects located in Texas, backed by roughly $948M in state appropriations across the 2023 and 2025 sessions. Two separate application tracks exist, one for private businesses and one for state entities and institutions of higher education. Private applicants must have an established Texas presence, be positioned to advance the state’s semiconductor leadership, commit capital investment and job creation, and demonstrate that the local community had prior knowledge of the project, with local economic incentives strengthening an application. There is no published deadline or funding round; applications are accepted on a rolling basis through forms on the Governor’s Office page.
