UK-Singapore Collaborative R&D 2026

Innovate UK and Enterprise Singapore co-fund business-led industrial research, with up to GBP 3M for the UK side and UK grant requests of GBP 100K-GBP 900K over 24-36 months. Eligible sectors are advanced manufacturing, clean energy, life sciences, and digital and frontier technologies including semiconductors, quantum, AI, cyber, advanced connectivity and engineering biology. Eligibility requires a UK-registered business lead plus at least one Singapore-registered business that is a separate, non-linked entity applying in parallel to Enterprise Singapore; only the UK partners apply to Innovate UK. No single country or partner may represent more than 70% of project cost, most work must happen in the UK and Singapore, and subcontracting is capped at 20% of UK eligible costs; the call opened 24 August 2026 and closes 16 December 2026.
