A two-stage, non-dilutive grant and training program for student-led teams at US institutions commercializing science- and engineering-based inventions, including hardware, materials, energy and environmental technologies. Teams receive a $5,000 Pioneer grant plus a fully funded in-person training workshop, and can progress to a $20,000 Propel grant with further training and mentorship. Teams must include two or more currently enrolled students and a faculty advisor, and all new teams enter at the Pioneer stage. The Winter 2027 cycle workshops are held in Miami in January 2027.
