WEPA Ventures

WEPA Ventures is the corporate venturing arm of WEPA Industrieholding, a European family-owned hygiene paper group headquartered in Arnsberg, Germany. Founded in 2019, it operates as a family venture capital vehicle investing in early-stage startups across Europe, both directly and opportunistically as a fund LP. Its investment focus centers on the circular economy, sustainable materials, alternative and circular fibres, waste management digitization, bio-based packaging, and clean energy infrastructure — areas strategically adjacent to WEPA Group's core operations. The firm has made 17 investments to date, with portfolio companies including Resourcify, one•five, Sunhat, Tibo Energy, beSirius, and cirplus, alongside fund stakes in Planet A Ventures, Revent, and Vireo Ventures. Average round participation is approximately $6M USD. WEPA Ventures also develops circular economy business models through joint ventures and invests in renewable energy infrastructure projects.
