Xora Innovation is the early-stage deep tech investment platform of Singapore's sovereign wealth fund, Temasek, founded in 2019 and headquartered in Singapore. The firm backs science-based ventures across three core sectors: AI Infrastructure, Applied AI, and Deep Tech (spanning energy, advanced materials, and manufacturing). Xora typically invests as a lead or co-lead in Seed and Series A rounds, with later-stage follow-ons handled through parent Temasek. Seed rounds it participates in average roughly $25M and Series A rounds roughly $30M, with check sizes scaled accordingly. While not constrained by geography, it prioritizes opportunities with a strong link to Singapore's science and technology ecosystem, though in practice the bulk of its deals are US-based, followed by Singapore. Estimated AUM is around $300M, anchored by Temasek as sole LP. The firm makes only a handful of new investments per year to concentrate support; notable portfolio companies include Celestial AI, Bedrock Robotics, Aether Fuels, and Summit Nanotech.
