I'm a big fan of the 'getting things done' philosophy, where you get the things that are bothering you out of your head and onto paper. Some of it is a bit old school, but they have some interesting setup guides for a lot of types of software. I haven't purchased any myself but would be curious to hear from others who have. https://gettingthingsdone.com
