The 2026 Joint Annual Meeting (JAM 2026) of the Arizona–New Mexico Chapter of the American Fisheries Society and the Arizona and New Mexico Chapters of The Wildlife Society is held February 5–7, 2026 at the Hilton Sedona Resort at Bell Rock in Sedona, Arizona, under the theme "Staying Relevant While Managing Fish and Wildlife." The regional conference brings together fisheries biologists, wildlife managers, conservation scientists, state and federal natural-resource agency personnel, tribal natural-resource staff, academic researchers, graduate and undergraduate students, and NGO partners working across the southwestern United States. Program elements include plenary and technical sessions on native-species recovery, habitat management, climate and drought effects on aquatic and terrestrial wildlife, and human–wildlife coexistence, plus workshops on piscicide use, wildlife trapping, resume and mock-interview coaching, student events, and networking socials. Venue capacity is limited and there is no on-site registration.
