BuildingEnergy Boston 2026

The BuildingEnergy Boston 2026 conference took place March 23–24, 2026 at the Westin Boston Seaport District in Boston, Massachusetts. Organized by the Northeast Sustainable Energy Association (NESEA), this practitioner-focused conference convened more than 1,000 industry leaders and emerging professionals working in high-performance building design, energy efficiency, and renewable energy systems. The conference emphasized practical, community-scale solutions tailored to New England's climate and existing building stock. Key topic areas included deep energy retrofits of residential and commercial buildings, heat pump technology for electrifying building heating systems, district energy infrastructure, passive house construction standards, renewable energy integration with solar and heat recovery ventilation systems, and resilient design for climate impacts.
