NAHB International Builders’ Show (IBS) 2026

The NAHB International Builders' Show (IBS) 2026, held February 17–19 in Orlando, Florida, is the largest annual convention of the residential construction industry in North America, drawing 115,000+ attendees and 2,350+ exhibiting brands across 1.2 million net square feet of exhibit space. Co-located with the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) for Design & Construction Week, IBS convenes home builders, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and design professionals. While not exclusively climate-focused, the 2026 program includes a dedicated High-Performance Building Zone showcasing sustainable construction innovations, green building education, and climate-resilient design practices. Core sustainability themes span energy-efficient home design and envelope improvements, high-performance HVAC and mechanical systems, advanced insulation and building materials, water efficiency and management, renewable energy integration (solar, heat pumps), and resilient construction addressing climate risks. Educational sessions cover green building certifications, energy code compliance, embodied carbon in materials, and economics of sustainable building.
