Corteva Catalyst is the investment and partnership platform of Corteva Agriscience, a publicly traded global agriculture company headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana. Launched in March 2024, it operates within Corteva's R&D department and focuses on early-stage, disruptive agricultural technologies across four strategic verticals: gene editing, biologicals and natural products, technology platforms, and decision science. The platform makes direct equity investments at pre-seed through Series B stages, with typical check sizes of $10 million or less, though it can deploy larger amounts. Beyond equity, Corteva Catalyst also structures strategic R&D collaborations and joint ventures as standalone arrangements or alongside equity investments. The platform partners with Ducera Growth Ventures for deal sourcing and landscaping, and collaborates with accelerators such as StartLife and EIT Food to identify opportunities globally.
