Crucible is an eight-week virtual defense technology accelerator run by FedTech for dual-use companies at TRL 4 to 6 with a working product and demonstrated demand. Twelve companies per cohort receive one-on-one mentorship from defense-experienced advisors, workshops on government go-to-market and investor readiness, and a Demo Day pitch to investors, prime contractors and government stakeholders, with top teams invited to a Warfighting Innovation Summit in Southern California. Graduates can access Crucible Catalyst for free follow-on support pursuing non-dilutive funding. Applicants must be U.S. citizens with a U.S.-incorporated company; the programme takes no equity and charges no fees.
