Galaxia is Italy's National Technology Transfer Hub on Aerospace, powered by CDP Venture Capital and Obloo. Its mission is to transform innovations developed by Italian scientists and researchers into global aerospace market leaders. Galaxia targets PhD students, researchers, professors, and entrepreneurs affiliated with partner universities (Politecnico di Torino, Politecnico di Bari, Università La Sapienza, and Università di Padova) who are developing upstream or downstream space technologies — including satellites, propulsion, launchers, in-space services, earth observation, satellite communications, and advanced computing/AI/micro-nanoelectronics. It operates as lead investor at Pre-Seed/PoC (~€250K) and Seed (~€1M) stages, with follow-on investments possible. Alongside capital, Galaxia provides a tailor-made technical incubation program (run by Obloo) covering business planning, go-to-market strategy, IP, hiring, and testing/validation, as well as a business creation program run with ESA BIC partners (I3P-Torino and Spazio Attivo Roma). Applications are submitted via an online questionnaire on the programme page.
