Cure Ventures
InvestorActiveFounded in 2021 and based in Boston, Massachusetts, Cure Ventures is a life sciences venture capital firm focused on de novo company formation around groundbreaking curative technologies. The firm's strategy rests on three pillars: a seed funding model to de-risk early science; genetic validation to increase the probability of clinical success; and embedded Cure operators who work hands-on alongside founders day-to-day. Cure intends to follow through and co-lead subsequent Series A and B rounds of promising portfolio companies, seeing them through to exit. The firm closed its inaugural fund, Cure Ventures Fund I, L.P., at its hard-cap of $350 million in April 2023, backed by U.S. and international investors including public pension funds, endowments, fund-of-funds, hospital systems, sovereign wealth funds, and family offices. Managing partners are Richard Lim, David Fallace, and Lou Tartaglia, all seasoned industry veterans with backgrounds spanning Juno Therapeutics, Agios Therapeutics, and Nuvation Bio, among others.
