Dublin Climate Action Week 2026

Dublin Climate Action Week 2026 (#DCAW26) runs May 11–17, 2026, as a coordinated citywide initiative organized by Dublin's four local authorities (Dublin City Council, Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown, Fingal, South Dublin), the Dublin Metropolitan Climate Action Regional Office (CARO), and Codema (Dublin's Energy Agency). The week features free, open-access workshops, talks, exhibitions, school programs, and community-led climate action events across Dublin city and county, coinciding with National Bike Week and National Biodiversity Week to amplify impact on sustainable transport, nature restoration, and climate resilience. Thematic focus areas include energy efficiency improvements, circular economy solutions, nature-based climate adaptation, active mobility infrastructure, and community-driven emissions reduction. All events are available in-person and online, making Dublin's climate action initiatives accessible to residents, businesses, students, and organizations seeking to engage with municipal decarbonization and environmental protection strategies.
