ECMN26 – Environment & Climate Mobilities Network Conference 2026

ECMN26, the fourth biennial Environment and Climate Mobilities Network Conference, convenes June 23–26, 2026, at Wageningen University & Research in Wageningen, Netherlands, bringing together researchers, policymakers, practitioners, and development professionals across disciplines to examine climate change, environmental transformation, and human mobility interconnections. The conference theme—Mobilities and Climate Change: Bridging (Trans)Disciplinary, Spatio-Temporal and Political Divides—emphasizes transdisciplinary dialogue on climate-induced migration, displacement patterns, governance challenges, climate justice dimensions, and adaptation pathways in vulnerable regions. Programming includes peer-reviewed research presentations, interactive workshops, policy roundtables, and collaborative sessions addressing land and waterscapes, innovative methodologies, and solutions for equitable climate adaptation. Hosted by Wageningen University's Environmental Policy Group, the conference fosters collaboration among academic researchers, government agencies, and civil society.
