MEDX Xelerator
Accelerator, Incubator, FellowshipActiveMEDX Xelerator is a medical-device-focused incubator and investor operating under the auspices of the Israel Innovation Authority, founded in 2015 and headquartered in Or Yehuda, Israel (with a second location in Sakhnin). It was established as a partnership between MEDX Ventures Group, Boston Scientific, Intellectual Ventures' Invention Science Fund, and Sheba Medical Center. The program targets early-stage (pre-seed and seed) medical device startups in vascular, interventional cardiology, urology, interventional oncology, medical robotics, and digital health. Portfolio companies receive over $800,000 for a two-year period and up to $1.1 million for three years, along with hands-on support across R&D, business development, regulatory affairs, IP, clinical access, and finance. The incubator operates an in-house laboratory (X Lab) with state-of-the-art equipment. Entrepreneurs apply by emailing a pitch deck and one-page summary.
