PINC
InvestorActivePINC (Paulig Incubator) is the corporate venture capital arm of Paulig Group, a 150-year-old Finnish family-owned food company. Launched in 2018, PINC invests in early-stage startups across the agrifood value chain with a focus on the Nordics and Europe. Its three primary impact themes are: improving planetary health and diet within the current food system (e.g., crop breeding, green fertilizers, innovative ingredients); novel technologies to feed 10 billion people by 2050 (e.g., precision fermentation, cell cultivation); and circular systems for food and materials (e.g., upcycled ingredients, packaging solutions). PINC operates as an evergreen fund with no fixed exit timeline. Entry tickets range from €200k to €1M at pre-seed and seed stages. Beyond capital, PINC offers founders hands-on support through board roles, access to Paulig's European sales and distribution network, consumer insights, and brand and product development expertise. A strategic link to Paulig is preferred but not required. PINC is headquartered in Stockholm.
