Quantum Exponential

Quantum Exponential Group plc (QEG) is the United Kingdom's first specialist quantum technology investment company, headquartered in London. It builds a portfolio of investments in quantum technology companies operating within NATO-aligned countries, with focus areas spanning quantum computing software and components, quantum communications, quantum sensing, and quantum metrology. The firm identifies and engages with over 100 high-potential quantum technology start-ups annually, with a primary emphasis on seed-stage funding and active post-investment support including board-level guidance and network access. QEG has a 3.5-year investment track record and a portfolio of ten companies, all revenue-generating, spanning quantum computing hardware, photonics, advanced sensing, and enabling technologies. In November 2025, QEG launched fundraising for a new £100 million Quantum Technologies Fund targeting pre-seed to scale-up stages, with approximately two-thirds of capital directed toward UK-based companies. The fund is aligned with the UK's National Quantum Strategy and supported by an MOU with the Harwell Quantum Cluster. An anchor Letter of Intent has been received from a Silicon Valley fund. The firm co-invests with partners including Notion Capital, the Institute of Physics, and Innovate UK.
