Socratic Partners is a venture capital firm based in Boston, Massachusetts, with an additional office in Miami Beach, Florida, investing in semiconductor technology across the United States. It backs companies across the semiconductor value chain, including chip design and manufacturing, advanced packaging and testing, datacenter and edge processing, datacenter networking, optical networking and interconnect, power and sensors, and mobile/consumer semiconductor applications. The firm targets early to mid-stage companies at seed, Series A, and Series B, and has both led rounds (e.g., Series A) and co-invested alongside other leads in later rounds. It invests out of its debut fund, Socratic Partners I LP, which had raised over $100 million toward a $500 million target as of its second close.
