The Stanford BASES E-Challenge is an annual business plan competition hosted by the Business Association of Stanford Entrepreneurial Students, awarding $150,000 total across for-profit (E-Challenge) and social venture (Social E-Challenge) tracks. The Social E-Challenge awards $50,000 to teams with exceptional business models that generate positive social impact, while the E-Challenge focuses on for-profit startups. Teams must include at least one full-time Stanford student, but other members can come from outside the Stanford community. Participants also receive mentoring from experts in social-impact funding, legal issues, and entrepreneurship.
