TEAMER is a U.S. Department of Energy Water Power Technologies Office programme, directed by the Pacific Ocean Energy Trust, that gives marine energy technology developers no-cost access to a national network of approved test facilities and national labs. Support categories include expert consultation, numerical modeling, laboratory tank, flume and tunnel testing, open-water testing, and commercialization support. Recipients receive roughly nine months to complete their awarded scope of work. Applicants must first coordinate with an approved TEAMER facility to confirm a capability match before submitting.
