Tundra Capital is a Brisbane-based Australian venture capital manager, formerly known as Mandalay Venture Partners, specialising in agrifood technology, water, energy, and critical industry sectors. The firm operates two venture funds: Mandalay Fund I, a Seed-to-Series A Australian ESCVLP fund focused on the farm-to-fork value chain that closed at AUD 35M in 2022; and Tundra Fund II, a Series A-to-Series B fund targeting USD 120M with an expanded mandate covering global food security, water, and energy technology with an Asia emphasis. A third offering provides private credit and lending for businesses in essential supply chains and critical infrastructure. Managing Partners Mark Gustowski and Timothy Hui previously ran startup funds for Queensland University of Technology. The firm backs commercially proven ventures, takes board seats, and provides active portfolio governance, industry networks across APAC, and government relationships.
