APAN Virtual Dialogue Series

ConferenceActive

The APAN Virtual Dialogue Series convenes stakeholders across Asia-Pacific to prepare for the Asia-Pacific Adaptation Forum, engaging participants through multiple sessions focused on building regional climate resilience. The dialogue streams cover four thematic pillars: inclusive resilience (addressing equity and vulnerable populations), nature-based resilience (ecosystem restoration and biodiversity protection), economic sector resilience (industrial decarbonization and supply chain adaptation), and community and local resilience (grassroots adaptation implementation). As a precursor to the Asia-Pacific Adaptation Forum—the flagship convening of the Asia Pacific Adaptation Network (APAN) under UNEP coordination—the virtual dialogue series brings together adaptation practitioners, policymakers, civil society, and community leaders sharing experiences and collaborative solutions to climate impacts. Sessions emphasize locally-led adaptation, indigenous knowledge, and cross-sector coordination for transformational capacity building.
