ARPA-H Funding
GrantActiveThe Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) funds breakthrough biomedical and health research aimed at accelerating cures and treatments for diseases. Small businesses can participate through SBIR contracts (up to $600K Phase I, $3.5M Phase II) or through broader program solicitations, with total program budgets typically ranging from $50-150M shared across awardees. Funds are disbursed on a milestone basis, and there are no restrictions on applicant type except for federal government entities and FFRDCs. ARPA-H is especially focused on transformative health technologies that conventional funders are unlikely to support.
