ENBEL Conference: Connecting Health and Climate Change

The transdisciplinary ENBEL Conference on Connecting Health and Climate Change took place October 16–18, 2025, in Tallinn, Estonia, convening researchers, experts, policymakers, and civil society organizations examining climate change effects on human health, adaptation strategies, and societal resilience pathways. The second edition of this biennial international conference provided a platform for presenting cutting-edge research findings, facilitating discussion on climate impacts on communicable diseases, non-communicable diseases, and mental health outcomes, exploring health equity and climate justice dimensions, and identifying opportunities for building climate-resilient public health systems and infrastructure. The three-day conference featured peer-reviewed research presentations, poster sessions, expert panel discussions, and networking opportunities for senior and early-career researchers, government health agencies, environmental health professionals, and advocacy organizations working at the intersection of climate science and public health.
