NOAA SBIR Program
GrantActiveThe NOAA SBIR program funds small businesses developing innovative and commercially viable technologies related to NOAA's mission areas including ocean monitoring, weather prediction, climate science, and coastal resilience. Phase I awards up to $190,000 for six months of feasibility research, and Phase II provides up to $650,000 over two years for continued development. Research topics span extreme events, coastal resilience, ocean monitoring, water resources, space weather effects, and climate change mitigation. All proposals must relate to NOAA's mission and demonstrate commercial applications beyond the agency itself.
