The Hope Summit

The Hope Summit 2026, held October 1–3 in Charleston, South Carolina, is a four-day multidisciplinary gathering—including a two-day conference, film festival, and community solutions showcase—exploring resilience, regeneration, restoration economics, and environmental justice in coastal communities. Hosted at the Charleston Museum and cultural venues, the summit convenes 500+ environmental professionals, restoration practitioners, artists, scientists, and community leaders addressing water quality, plastic pollution, ecosystem restoration, climate adaptation, and environmental justice. Core conference tracks span marine and terrestrial stewardship, citizen science, governance innovation, indigenous ecological management, and storytelling as catalyst for environmental action and behavior change. Now in its fourth year, The Hope Summit attracts participants from nonprofits, universities, government agencies, and organizations sharing restoration solutions grounded in the Lowcountry's unique coastal ecosystems and catalyzing movement-building toward regenerative futures.
