Prosemino

Prosemino is a UK-based climate tech venture studio founded in 2020 that co-founds, builds, and supports early-stage startups tackling net-zero challenges. It focuses on electrochemical clean energy technologies, including hydrogen, energy storage, carbon capture and utilisation, and advanced materials. As a co-founder, Prosemino provides early-stage capital, access to its own specialised lab facilities (2,500 sq ft across sites in Hackney Wick and Canada Water, London), and hands-on technical and commercial mentorship from a team of PhD-qualified specialists. The venture building programme runs 12 to 24 months, taking startups from concept through R&D to seed fundraising and independent graduation. Prosemino targets hardware-focused companies with novel IP addressing net-zero problems via electrochemistry or advanced materials. It operates in partnership with Energy Revolution Ventures (ERV) and has supported 7+ portfolio companies, including Oort Energy, which raised a £6M seed round.
